How should electric screwdriver torque be inspected during production?
Electric screwdriver torque should be inspected at the start of production, during assembly, and before shipment to make sure every torque level stays within the approved specification.
We recommend checking:
Calibrated torque tester: use a digital torque meter or torque analyzer suitable for low-torque precision screwdrivers
Each torque level: test every programmed torque setting separately
Multiple cycles: take several readings at each level instead of relying on one measurement
Torque consistency: compare repeated readings to identify unstable motor, gearbox, PCB, or control performance
Automatic stop: confirm the screwdriver stops correctly when the designed torque condition is reached
Forward and reverse operation: check both directions where applicable
Battery condition: perform torque testing at a defined battery level because low battery voltage can affect output
Speed setting: keep the same RPM and test conditions when comparing production units
After aging: repeat torque measurements after aging or endurance testing to check for performance drift
Production sampling: test units from different assembly times and production batches, not only the first pieces
For ToolQeen multi-stage precision electric screwdrivers, the standard electric torque levels are:
Level 1: 0.05 N·m
Level 2: 0.15 N·m
Level 3: 0.25 N·m
Level 4: 0.35 N·m
The buyer should define the target torque, acceptable tolerance, number of test cycles, battery condition, test fixture, and pass/fail criteria before mass production.
