Tip profile dimensions: Phillips, Torx, Pentalobe, Tri-point, Hex, and other profiles must match the intended screw geometry

Tip width and thickness: especially important for Slotted and micro precision bits

Across-flats dimension: critical for Hex bits and hex-shank compatibility

Tip angle and taper: incorrect geometry can prevent full engagement with the screw

Lobe or wing geometry: important for Torx, Pentalobe, Tri-point, and other specialty profiles

Tip depth and working length: determines how fully the bit enters the screw recess

Concentricity and runout: the tip should remain centered with the bit shank during rotation

Shank size: H4 / 4 mm and H6.35 / 6.35 mm shanks must fit the holder correctly
