Profile geometry: inspect Phillips, Torx, Pentalobe, Tri-point, Hex, and other shapes with a profile projector or vision measuring system
Tip symmetry: both sides of the bit should be evenly machined without visible offset or distortion
Concentricity: the working tip should remain centered with the bit shank
