How is incoming quality control performed for screwdriver production?
Incoming quality control (IQC) for screwdriver production is performed by checking key materials and components before they are released to the assembly line.
We recommend inspecting:
Screwdriver bits: material, hardness, dimensions, tip accuracy, coating, and magnetic performance
Motor: speed, current, noise, vibration, and basic operating performance
Gearbox: gear condition, backlash, noise, lubrication, and output stability
Battery: model, voltage, capacity, internal resistance, appearance, and protection circuit
PCB: component version, soldering quality, firmware, buttons, display, LED, and control functions
Plastic and metal parts: dimensions, color, surface finish, deformation, scratches, and assembly fit
Bearings and shafts: dimensions, rotation smoothness, runout, and abnormal noise
USB-C ports and cables: connector fit, charging performance, and electrical continuity
Magnets and bit holders: retention force and assembly position
Packaging materials: printing, color, dimensions, inserts, labels, and barcode accuracy
IQC should compare incoming materials with the approved drawing, specification, BOM, golden sample, and supplier standard.
Critical components such as the battery, motor, gearbox, PCB, and precision bits should receive stricter inspection because changes in these parts can directly affect torque, speed, durability, charging, and product safety.
