What should be included in an electric screwdriver QC checklist?
An electric screwdriver QC checklist should cover appearance, dimensions, torque, speed, runout, battery, motor, gearbox, functions, accessories, packaging, and compliance markings.
We recommend including:
Appearance: scratches, dents, color difference, coating, logo, and assembly gaps
Dimensions: overall size, shaft size, bit size, button position, and critical tolerances
Torque: verify each electric torque level and manual torque where applicable
Speed: check RPM at each speed level
Automatic stop: confirm the screwdriver stops correctly under the designed load
Forward/reverse: verify both directions operate normally
Runout: check bit and shaft wobble
Motor: noise, current, temperature rise, and operating stability
Gearbox: abnormal noise, backlash, slipping, and smooth transmission
Battery: model, voltage, capacity, charging time, runtime, and protection functions
USB charging: connector fit, charging current, cable, and charging indicator
Buttons and display: check all controls, battery indicator, torque display, and direction indicator
LED lighting: brightness and operation
Bits: quantity, type, size, material, hardness, tip accuracy, and magnetic performance
Accessories: extension shaft, cable, manual, case, and other included parts
Aging test: verify performance after repeated operation
Drop or packaging test: where required
Packaging: case, inserts, retail box, barcode, labels, manuals, and outer carton
Compliance markings: model number, battery information, country of origin, CE/FCC/RoHS-related markings where applicable
Final quantity: confirm units, cartons, accessories, and spare parts
For ToolQeen electric screwdriver production, the QC checklist should be based on the approved golden sample, final specification, BOM, drawings, packaging artwork, and agreed acceptance criteria.
For multi-stage models, we recommend recording the actual measured torque values for 0.05, 0.15, 0.25, and 0.35 N·m, rather than simply marking the function as “PASS.”
