What should be checked during a screwdriver pre-shipment inspection?

A screwdriver pre-shipment inspection should verify that the finished goods match the approved sample, specifications, quantity, packaging, and quality requirements before the shipment is released.

We recommend checking:

Quantity: total units, cartons, accessories, and spare parts

Appearance: scratches, dents, color difference, logo position, coating, and assembly gaps

Dimensions: handle size, bit size, shaft length, case size, and critical tolerances

Bit quality: correct sizes, tip accuracy, material, hardness, and magnetic performance where required

Torque: verify electric torque levels, manual torque, and torque consistency

Speed: confirm RPM and forward/reverse operation

Runout: check for excessive bit wobble or shaft misalignment

Automatic stop: verify the screwdriver stops correctly at the required torque condition

Motor and gearbox: check noise, vibration, abnormal heat, and smooth operation

Battery: voltage, capacity, charging function, runtime, and battery model

USB charging: connector fit, charging current, cable, and indicator functions

Buttons, display, and LED: confirm all functions operate correctly

Set configuration: verify the correct number and type of bits and accessories

Packaging: check retail box, case, inserts, barcode, labels, manuals, and carton protection

Drop or transport protection: when required, confirm the packaging can protect the product during shipping

Compliance markings: verify model number, battery information, country of origin, CE/FCC/RoHS-related labels, and other required markings

Carton information: quantity, gross/net weight, dimensions, shipping marks, and destination details

For OEM orders, the finished goods should be compared against the approved golden sample, final specification, BOM, packaging artwork, and QC checklist.

For ToolQeen screwdriver projects, we recommend completing appearance, function, torque, runout, battery, aging, accessories, and packaging checks before shipment approval so any issue can be corrected before the goods leave the factory.
