What information should appear on electric screwdriver packaging for US buyers?

For U.S. buyers, electric screwdriver packaging should clearly identify the product, model, electrical specifications, battery information, manufacturer or responsible company, country of origin, and applicable safety information.

We recommend including:

Product name: such as “Precision Electric Screwdriver Set”

Brand and model number

Set configuration: for example, 53-in-1 or 67-in-1

Battery specifications: battery type, voltage, capacity, and watt-hours

Charging information: USB-C input voltage/current and charger requirements

Basic product specifications: such as torque range or speed when relevant

Package contents: screwdriver, number of bits, cable, accessories, etc.

Manufacturer, importer, or distributor information: according to the final private-label arrangement

Country of origin: imported products must carry the correct foreign country-of-origin marking, such as “Made in China.”

Safety warnings: battery charging, operating temperature, misuse, children, or other applicable risks

User manual or instructions: operating, charging, maintenance, and safety information

Compliance information: FCC information when the product is subject to FCC equipment rules, plus any other applicable markings or statements.

State-specific warnings: such as California Proposition 65 when applicable

For rechargeable screwdrivers, the retail packaging and the outer shipping carton should not be treated as the same thing. Lithium-battery transport markings, UN numbers, and dangerous-goods labels may be required on the shipping package depending on how the battery is packed and transported.

For ToolQeen OEM and private-label orders, we recommend confirming the brand name, model number, battery rating, country of origin, importer information, warnings, compliance requirements, barcode, and packaging artwork before mass production.

For example, if a ToolQeen model uses a 3.7 V / 400 mAh / 1.29 Wh lithium battery, those battery specifications should remain consistent with the approved product specification and compliance documentation.
