What information should appear on electric screwdriver packaging for EU buyers?

For EU buyers, electric screwdriver packaging should clearly identify the product, model, manufacturer, EU responsible economic operator, electrical specifications, battery information, safety information, and applicable compliance markings.

We recommend including:

Product name and model number

Brand and set configuration: for example, 53-in-1 or 67-in-1

Manufacturer name and contact details: including postal and electronic address

EU importer or responsible person: name, postal address, and electronic contact details when the manufacturer is outside the EU.

Product identification: model, type, batch, serial number, or another traceable identifier

Battery specifications: battery type, voltage, capacity, and Wh rating

Charging specifications: USB-C input and charging requirements

Package contents: screwdriver, bits, cable, and accessories

CE marking: when the product is subject to applicable EU CE-marking legislation

WEEE marking: the crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol is required for applicable electrical and electronic equipment; it should normally be on the product itself and may be placed on packaging or accompanying documents only in limited cases such as very small products.

Battery recycling marking: batteries are subject to separate EU battery-marking requirements. The separate-collection symbol has applied since August 18, 2025.

Safety warnings and instructions: provided in a language that consumers can easily understand in the EU country where the product is sold.

Country of origin, barcode, recycling information, and private-label information where required by the buyer or sales channel

For rechargeable electric screwdrivers, buyers should check the product label, battery label, retail packaging, and user manual together. Not every mandatory EU marking belongs on the retail box itself.

For ToolQeen OEM orders, we recommend approving the model number, battery specification, CE information, EU responsible-person details, WEEE/battery markings, warnings, languages, barcode, and packaging artwork before mass production.
