A buyer should create a screwdriver inspection standard by defining what must be checked, the acceptable tolerance, the test method, and the pass/fail criteria before mass production starts.

Appearance: scratches, dents, color difference, logo position, coating, and assembly quality
Dimensions: handle size, bit size, shaft length, case dimensions, and other critical measurements
Bit accuracy: tip shape, fit, concentricity, and compatibility with the target screw
Bit material and hardness: verify S2, CR-V, or other specified material and hardness range
Torque: check electric torque levels, manual torque, and torque consistency
Speed: verify RPM and forward/reverse operation
Runout: confirm the bit does not wobble excessively during rotation
Automatic stop: verify the screwdriver stops correctly at the required torque condition
Battery: voltage, capacity, charging function, runtime, and battery model
USB charging: charging current, connector fit, and charging indicator
Motor and gearbox: check noise, vibration, abnormal heat, and operating stability
Buttons and display: verify all functions, indicators, and controls
Accessories: confirm bit quantity, sizes, cable, extension shaft, and other included parts
Packaging: artwork, barcode, labels, manuals, carton quantity, and protection during transport

The inspection standard should also define the sampling level and defect classification, such as critical, major, and minor defects, instead of simply saying “quality must be good.”
